About these terms

By installing or using the Stockan Chrome extension you agree to the following. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. Educational purpose only

Stockan is a learning and research tool. Everything it shows, including market stance, probabilities, reversal watch, support and resistance, expected range, AI readings and example option contracts with stop-loss and target, is a calculation from market data and fixed rules. It is not investment advice, not a trading tip, not a buy / sell / hold recommendation and not a research report. Any decision you take is solely your own responsibility.

2. SEBI disclosure

Dipak Das is a SEBI Registered Research Analyst (Registration No. INH000028732; BSE Research Analyst Enlistment No. 7348). The registration is shared only to identify the publisher. This extension is an educational tool and is not part of any regulated research or advisory service, which, if offered, are provided separately.

3. Stockan does not trade for you

Stockan never places, modifies or cancels an order. The Buy and Sell buttons open Kite's own order window and you confirm the order there. Paper trading creates virtual records only; nothing reaches your broker.

4. Risk

Trading in securities and especially in index and stock options involves a high risk of loss, including loss of more than you expected. Past behaviour of any indicator does not guarantee future results. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

5. Accuracy of data and analysis

• Data comes from Zerodha (Kite Connect), NSE, BSE, Google News and, if you use it, Google Gemini. It can be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
• Order-flow cells marked with "~" are estimates made from the candle's range and volume, not real exchange order flow.
• AI readings can be wrong. Verify everything yourself.
• Readings are a snapshot of the moment they were made and can change quickly.

6. Your accounts and keys

You need your own Zerodha account and your own Kite Connect app (a paid Zerodha product) and, optionally, your own Google Gemini key. You are responsible for keeping them safe and for the charges and terms of those services. See the Privacy Policy for how keys are stored.

7. No affiliation

Stockan is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Zerodha, Kite, Google, NSE, BSE or TradingView. All names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

8. Availability and changes

The extension is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It depends on third-party websites that can change without notice, so features may stop working. We may update, change or withdraw it at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any loss or damage, including trading losses, arising from the use of or inability to use the extension.
